After some people asking me how to get snow spray and water spray on all aircrafts, I decided to make a little tutorial.
Anyway. Here it is.
============================================
1. Go to Project OpenSky and download 747-400 vers3 (any type) [Home > Downloads > Boeing 747-400 vers3 gMax > Choose any airline.]
2. After downloaded, extract the file of the downloaded plane (eg; os744fv3pac.zip) to desktop using winzip, winRAR or a simillar programme. [Right click > extract here]
3. In the aircraft folder, extract a zip file called "744-effects.zip" [Aircraft folder > 744-effects.zip]
4. Copy all of the effects in that file. [Extract 744-effects.zip > open up 744-effects folder > copy all of the contents inside]
5. Now open up the fs9 folder, and select the effects folder. [fs9 folder > effects folder]
6. Open up the effects folder and paste the effects from the 744-effects folder. [Open up the effects folder > Paste contents from 744-effects folder]
7. Now open the folder of the aircraft you want the effects to be in (eg; B777-200ER Air France), then open the aircraft.cfg. [Open up the aircraft folder you want the effects on > open the aircraft.cfg]
8. Open it in notepad or a simillar programme, scroll down until you see something called "EFFECTS" , DELETE IT!!. [open with notepad > scroll down > delete ..entitled "EFFECTS]
9. Copy this next section. [copy next section]
[EFFECTS]
wake=fx_wake
water=fx_spray
dirt=fx_tchdrt
concrete=fx_sparks
touchdown=fx_tchdwn320, 1
[SMOKESYSTEM]
//Wing condensation
smoke.2=0, -08.917, -39.167, Opensky_conden
smoke.3=0, -08.917, 39.167, Opensky_conden
--------End of copying
10. Paste in the empty space where your old effects used to be. [paste where your old effects used to be]
11. When you have pasted it, save the changes to the cfg, and then place your aircraft folder into the fs9 > aircraft folder. [Save changes > place the folder in fs9 "aircraft" folder]
12. When on the runway, hit the "i" key to toggle it, and again to turn it off.
I hope this tutorial has been of any assistance to you in your guide to the perfect spray Enjoy and happy flying

Neil
