I've already got the terminal buildings, jetways, and AFCAD file.  There's still much more to do, but this is what I have so far.

United Airline's concourse B, and the two jet gates on concourse A (where the 777 and 757 are parked)  Out of view in this shot is the commuter part of councourse A.

Councourse C.  When the airport was in operation in real life, this was Continental's hub.
Posted Image

Frontier's concourse D.  As you can see, I still have some tweaking to do with my AFCAD file.
Posted Image

Concourse E for "the other airlines".  This concourse was only in operation for 6 years until the airport closed in 1995, and was torn down in 1999.  And yes, more AFCAD tweaking needed.
Posted Image

The entire airport.  Runways 8R/26L, 8L/26R, and 7/25 (the little tiny runway) are in the foreground.  Runways 17R/35L, and 17L/35R are at the top, and not seen in the shot is the other "tiny" runway 18/36.  A Frontier A319 can be seen departing 35L.

Sunset shot of the terminal complex.

Landing runway 35R.  No matter which end you land at, it's always a ###### long taxi to the gate.

Like I said, I still have more work to do, but comments welcome!

The jetways are "nice and new."  All I did was use FSSC to place some default buildings in the style of what the terminal looked like and the "grass" backround, and the rest is RWY 12 (jetways and other static objects that I am adding) and AFCAD.  From the get-go, I was doing this purely for the heck of it and I wanted it to be as simple as possible.

i guess your right...I looked around on google and found a decent shot of the jetway. But it still looks way to white for me. Needs to be more of a off-white IMO

I must say, I am IMPRESSED! Superb! The visual quality is AMAZING! However, a few words of criticism: #1: Where's the parking garage? #2: shame on you for using the new Frontier for AI. I mean this is Stapleton we're talking about. and #3 Shame on you for using New Colors United as AI, esp. at Stapleton. I assume you are going to make a better control tower as well. Otherwise, great scenery, and I look foreward to downloading it once it's done.

Another question: from where can I download FSSC and RWY 12?

Looking good .... Stapleton is on my "Want" list and has been collecting dust.  That's a good job you've got going there.  Mind if I ask what your framerates are?  If you haven't done it yet, hit Ctl-Z three times and taxi around the area and keep it on for a fly-over.

Haven't had a chance to play with Rwy 12 yet, but that looks like a LOT of polygons in there.

Still, it's an EXCELLENT job.

What did you use to create the black bordered taxi lines?

Looks like AEU6 or AEU7.

Airport Environment Upgrade - its a pack that updates the textures, including the taxiway lines.

But that upgrades them all(every airport) though doesn't it?

Yep; the AEU textures replace the FS9 default textures.  Designing an airport in AFCAD, it reads the default textures -- you can't point AFCAD to a different set of textures.  When you modify/design an airport and add taxiways, ramps, and runways, AFCAD will pick up the default textures that you select ... which means the installed AEU textures.

Is there a scenery design program out there besides GMAX that can make the black bordered taxi lines?  I know I saw one but I can't remember what it is now.
