Whichever ignorant American thinks the NTSB will be "investigating" should be shot.
Admin note: Keep talking like that and you can find another forum to frequent.

Funnily enough, they decided to land the largest aircraft at Pearson onto the smallest runway. Typical GTAA and NavCanada for you.

Although we did require some of their military expertise with underwater ROVs to examine and recover the wreckage, this is a completely different situation.

Now let us leave the investigation unrolled. Today the BEA (Office investigations and accidents / Bureau enquêtes et accidents) arrives at Canada for carried out the investigation jointly with the Canadian services.

All 309 passengers and crew survived after an Air France Airbus burst into flames when it overshot the runway and crashed into a gully at Toronto's Pearson International Airport in a lightning storm on Tuesday.
It is a miracle no body was injured

Here is an Air Canada A340-300 (same as Air France) that is landing on the same runway (06R) but the other way than the air france.

Here you can see the crash: the road and everyhting in my photo is in sight.
The ravine that they are in is about 200 or so feet deep just off the edge of one of the access roads.
The firecrews would of had one ###### of a time getting out there, we will learn soon what went well and what didn't go to plan in the rescue. I hear my dad has driven up to investigate with the airport authority, so I will talk to him next time I call him.
Image is somewhat old, but I had a really nice tour of yyz with the airport fire servieces last year. Very good guys (and women too).

OK, I changed my mind. I believe the aircraft crashed because there was too much rain and it should have diverted to KANSAS CITY. The plane skidded off the end of the runway because there was lightning and the pilots got scared! and couldn't concentrate
I hope NASA does a good investigation and prevents this from happening again
