The default Lear's stopping capabilities never cease to amaze me.  I was recording this approach for a video I'm thinking of making, and I ended up coming in hot & high on the approach into Meigs.  After touching down way past the TDZ I contemplated making it a touch-and-go, but I decided to stick it out.  The Lear came through for me again and saved my neck though.  Check out the last few hundred feet - this baby's got some grip! :o

The video is 16.9mb btw.  Sorry for the size - I haven't figured out this divx thing yet (Jon is being patient with me :P )

I don't use those water textures anymore because of that very reason Byron - it bugged me too.

Rali, to record that one I used my new digital video camera and fed it with the s-video output on my Radeon.

Psycho you shouldn't need anything special for that one - I think it's just MPEG1.  Windows Media Player should work just fine - I use v8.

Yep :o  This vid is mpeg2 though, and to answer the codec question you need to install an mpeg2 codec to view it (easiest way is to install a DVD viewer such as WinDVD or PowerDVD).  After installing a DVD viewer you can use Media Player to watch mpeg2 movies (or the DVD viewer itself if you wish).

I was wondering that also. Some of the nicest landing views are not from inside the plane. Landing a 747 while looking at it from 3/4 front left view would be nearly impossible!
