After more than 3 years of development and an extensive beta test, Captain Sim is pleased to announce that the most advanced PC based C-130 'Hercules' simulation is ready for release!

Today we will upload the 'Legendary C-130' version 1.0 package to our servers, and if final testing goes smoothly, you can expect the 'Legendary C-130' expansion for MSFS 2004 release very soon.

Taking into consideration flightsim community requests, we will release two versions:

'Legendary C-130 Standard' at 41,30 USD
and
'Legendary C-130 Pro' at 51,30 USD. The 'Pro' version will be released first.

Compare the packages, see many new screenshots and watch new sixteen video clips capturing some of the top-notch features of the 'Legendary C-130' at http://www.captainsim.com.

This is a military plane in a civilian sim..! I've never understood the concept of these addons in FS.

Although I recognise it doesn't drop bombs and shoot missiles, I wouldn't be choosing it to fly to Tenerife.

Overpriced wasteware is what I'd call it. They could have produced a lovley 757

PSS, LDS and iFDG Already have 757 models in the works :D.

What could you do in a military simulator with a C130 that you couldn't do in FS? :D .

An AIrcraft is an aircraft...Who says it was a Civilian sim? You make it what you want it to be :D

I love this new aircraft but only one problem.  Captain Sim please help!!!  My truck that is supposed to drive in the back only stays outside the aircraft and does not go in.  Also I cant get the skids to come out of the bottom ramp.  Any idea what the problem is?

The frame rates are pretty good but not the best but what else would you expect from a high quality payware aircraft.  I average around 18fps in the VC and when in 2d panel when I look out a side view there is a slight stutter for a bit while the outside textures load.  You can see the wings from the 2d panel side views so that stutter for a few seconds is from the outside textures loading which is a bit annoying. :D   Overall it is a great aircraft but $50 is way to much for any addon in my opinion.  But yet we still buy it! :)

OK, it's such a gorgeous looking plane, but I cannot justify buying it.
I just wouldn't fly it enough.

Interesting comment in that I have been to Tenerife (both north and south) several times in this very aircraft (CC-130).

In real life.

Ah well - to each his own.

Very nice aircraft, detailed but not overly complex like the PMDG 747, still haven't worked out how to turn the panel on.. heh
