Do y have FSScreen? Its a little programm try it perhaps it works with 2004??

I don't have that but how do you get it. I also have fs 2002

I use the print screen button, then go to a program like MS paint or PhotoImpact and paste it into new image.
You could also use fraps witch measures your fps.
With fraps you can also capture a video or capture screenshots...
They still have a freeware version on download...
