So long as they use FS scenery and not REAL photos, they are allowed..

That pic is of an add on airport with photo textures.

if you look closely on the left side of the pic, there is something like a pole or whatever, that has the shadow pointing upwards. all the other things have shadows that point downwards therefore something has to be wrong here. if you ask me, that is taken from a photo

Many airport addons contain photorealsitic textures, often with built in fixed shadows that are imprinted permanently on the scenery. Because the shadows themselves are part of the fixed textures, they obviously won't match the other dynamic shadows that FS calculates according to time of day.

So just because the shadow doesn't match doesn't necessarily mean that this is a composite from a photo.  We'll find out soon enough at the end of this contest at which time the author of this shot will tell us what airport addon appears in his shot.  That should put the questions and doubts to rest.
