The music was perfect. The opening was spot on...the uluru then afterwards, the transition to the mountain scenery. Some of these scenes looked REAL...despite being crappy default mesh.
Is this video really only 3:50 long? It felt like an eternity. Something I like - short yet breathtaking.
5/5 for this video definately.

I have a few questions I'd like to ask if you don't mind.
Your movies are the subject of some discussion over in the alt.games.microsoft.flight-sim newsgroup.
1. How on earth do you get such smooth motion in your sim? Do you have a massive computer system, or is it something we can all acheive?
2. What do you use to capture your footage? Fraps?
3. How do you get the camera angles you do, such as the panel shots in CB2? Is it Active Camera?
I'd be eternally grateful if you could answer these questions for me!
Thanks again, and keep producing your art! I'm hooked! :-)

CL,
thanks for your comments. I didn't know my videos were popular at that newsgroup
Answering your questions:
1. I have a AMD 3500 with an ATI 850XT. Nothing special. I do run my sim on a stripped down copy of windows(nothing in the background) and capture footage to a second HD exclusively for capturing video. Much of the "smoothness" I guess is a combination of Fraps and the rendering in Sony Vegas.
2. yes, FRAPS
3. To position the cameras I use Active Camera and Walk&Follow. The pannings are done in the video editing software.
hope that helps!

I've got Adobe Premiere 6, so I imagine that's pretty similar to what you use. Might check out that Walk&Follow program.
I'd love to be able to make movies as good as yours!
I've make 3 or 4, and I thought they were good, until I came here! :-)
I suppose you record using Fraps at full size, rather than half size?, and set fps to 30+?
Thanks for being so obliging!

CL: yes I capture it in fullsize, fps 25-30 depending on the scenes.
