Ok, now Jon, there is no need to brag. Just because I ordered a new motherboard and my computer is out of commission, does not mean you need to go bragging like that.

GOSH COFFEE.

Very nice. Right now I struggle for 7th place :D
My computer decided to forget about my 20,000,000 step project and start a new 500,000 step project instead. That was gutting as it decided to do that at about 16,000,000 steps complete. My 500,000 step project didn't get credited either O.o

Pretty shameless I know but I figured it would only last a few hours so I had to take advantage and get my licks in while I could. Sure enough we traded places twice since I posted this so far. orry Fox, but I am a firm believer in kicking a guy when he is down lol. When are you going to have your machine back up and folding?

I have a new motherboard (bought it last night, DFI LAN Party SLI) but Something must have happened to my card when it was out of the case, newegg offered to replace it though.

I mailed it today so I would guess around 12 Days. :D

Edit: But I am not out of the game, because all this time I have a P4 2.6 GHz running 24/7. So I will be folding, not as fast though.

Are you able to run two clients with the Hyper-Threading?

Hmmm, I'll have to look into that. I know the installer I use for Linux detects the number of cores you have and sets up a client for each, I wonder if it would detect the hyper threading or not....

Use one desktop display client, and use one client to run in the background as a service.

Yes, I managed to run 2 clients with HT, but only if I use the Console version of folding. If I recall I had to open up one client at first, rename the process and set it's affinity, then open up the second client and set it's affinity.

lol, I'm just off the bottom of the list there.

My Barton is in a permanent state of overheating.

And F@H makes my laptop realy warm so I gave up after a day or so after it kept forgetting about it's previous work on WUs.

Maybee I'll get it back on the PC after My Big Typhoon arrives.

Edit:

LMAO, I meant to put this post in Eric's glory thread.
