Depends how people browse messages. If they go forum by forum, pinned threads with a new message will be highlighted and possibly attract attention. If you use the "View New Posts" link, then pinned topics with new messages will reappear in the list at the top (bumped).

well see i told you when i said it last year that by this year i would reach 500 but ya i didn't expect it to be this early i also didn't expect to have 2weeks off starting the 1st january
