Sneaky fileplanet...

I agree.  You pay them the money, but no guarantees. What sneaky tactics to snag your money.  :D
Imagine all those that paid their subscriptions for this very purpose, but don't get to download squat.

It looks like we don't have to wait very long for the FSX Beta  :D. I also know the Beta could run very slow on my pc.
Mostly the Beta/ Demos on Fileplanet are released for subscribers 3 days (or something like that) before it comes to the public, isn't it?

My friend who got FSX beta 1 (offcial beta tester) is now also downloading FSX beta 2!

" Titel FSX Beta 2
Releasedate 31-7-2006
Download size  8.540,3 MB "

So the beta on Fileplanet have to be soon overthere.

Assuming you get good bandwidth.. Can you imagine how clogged the servers will be?

Maybe they will split it up into differnet parts in different geographical parts of the earth, so we won't have to download 12gb at once.

Nobody said it was going to be fast but I will just start the download before I go to bed one night and let my internet connection take care of the rest. :D

I agree with some others that subscribing is completely unnecessary.

Yeah, but I don't think you can get it through the regular way as FSX beta 2 has expired it's nomination date and can't be applied for now, I think.

I subscribed to fileplanet yesterday and it really is pretty nice. Fast download speeds, demos, betas and such. I had a little bit of money lying around so I decided to put it to use. If I get selected great, if not oh well. That's the mentality I have about this and we'll see what happens. :D

TDragger from Aces made this comment on Avsim concerning the beta testing on Fileplanet, 'my comment is that I recommend you all sign up...soon.'  We can take that comment in many ways but it sounds like maybe just maybe the chances of actually been picked for beta testing are pretty good but again only time will tell.
