FSX graphics look great!

Water textures are FINALLY realistic!

However, looks like a big time FPS hog at medium settings. If you want the eye candy like you see in the FSX screenshots  and you don't have the latest and greatest Conroe processor , G80 series GPU and 2GB of DDR2 RAM, you are going to suffer a performance hit big time!

I am VERY tempted to get FSX in a month or so when it comes out, but flying at 14FPS just does not cut it for me. FS9 on the other hand is very smooth now with my AMD X2 processor and 7900GT vid card. However , try landing a PDMG 737 or 744 at KLAX with 80% AI traffic and even with a high end CPU, you stutter along at 13-18 FPS.

I need at least 20 to enjoy simming. Fortunately , about 90% of the time i achieve that and it is going to stay that way. Settings are maxxed out pretty much everywhere.

When hardware comes available that will run FPS at 80% settings , with add-ons and at least 20FPS, i will upgrade. By then, quad-core processors  will be the norm! (aka 2008 or so!)

FS9 + addons look incredible on my system with now and its going to stick around for a while longer.

Those were max settings

Cheers, and when games start using dualcore advantage's, you'll see some major improvement.

Fps Question: You Wish.

Blurries: Yes they are gone. (unless you are flying supersonic)
