I was thinking about canning the default AI in FS9 for some AI Aardvark and a few other models. Do I have to have a special program and how do I install them ?

They install the same as other aircraft, but you'll need to find flightplans to assign them to - they Aardvark models are just the aircraft.

To begin with, try downloading and installing a few packages from World Of AI instead (you'll need their installer too) - they use Aardvark models in their packages.
