There should be a readme.txt (or some similar name) file with the packages you download from AVSIM; the instructions for installation are in that file. "How to install" can be quite different, depending on how the developer set up the package.

Peter10, is there more to your question?
They install like flyable aircraft. Do you also mean "...and make them show up at airports?" If so you also need to install flightplans, a whole other matter!
