I live right near there and i have been many times to the viewing park to see concorde as well... well... i have been waiting ages for this kinda scenery and i have to say... its awsome!!!

Just a little request that u do put in the viewing park as thats what makes Mchrtr airport that really for a lot of ppl...

Well done so far!! AWSOME!!

Mike
Thanks for your kind comments! Just about anything that's possible to put in, I will do my best to model and texture accurately. I have over a 100 photos of the airport now, gathered from the internet, and believe me, it's nowhere near enough!

RED1-the-one, yes they will be done - but only the ones within the airport perimeter that I've already limited the scenery to.

The modeling is easy enough, thanks. The only problem I'm facing so far is the lack of photos for some areas. I'd be glad if anyone has photos they're willing to provide.

2500 polys is good I think (dunno really I do planes   ) the gate is a vewry nice model and wel textured just again watch your polys you might want to do a lower poly model at say 30 LOD so you only see the high poly dome bits close to the gate.

As Dan said, that's very VERY good going. Could you take of the textures and show the mesh with just edged facing on? It will give us a better idea on where you're putting verticies etcetera - however, this is a VERY good start and I really wish you the best of luck. If you need any help or tips, drop me a PM and i'll try and point you in the right direction

Looks great. BTW try getting rid of the Aerial Images around the taxi ways because they will seem blury and instead replace them with custom taxi textures that match the ones at EGCC?
