Making videos the easy (and free!) way

And then FRAPS.. frame rate is fine, however, it makes 400MB 30 second videos.
What is with that? I've got no clue. I recorded 4 videos, 30 second each (that's the limit with the trial, I'm not paying for anything to record videos like this!), and each was 400MB..
Maybe I just need to record with my digital camera or something LOL (I am NOT trying to make videos for this site)

it be bout 3mb for a 30 second one then depending on res and so on

I use camtasia from techsmith but i have problem with this when i play my record
it start to jump please tell me what can i do to get good movie with camtasia?
my cpu is=3+
graphic card= nvidia 512mg
