When you open the Package Manager it provides a list of applications available grouped by type such as Network, Games, Sytem, etc. Each application has a brief description when you click on it.

Yep, I was able to find that. I spent more time wondering around in the games section though, lol. I like how you've got different programs and software suits that are free, and they're right there to install! In the even I want to find more, I can do it online, or I need to wait for a new version?

I think he may have been asking how to locate additional applications such as when he indicated a Google search on page three, add/remove programs (yes, on-line) is much simpler and easier than manually searching for Debian based apps via Google.
