No it's never been a payware project.

A couple of these recent aerial shots I was talking about. As you can see, it's almost finished and I wasn't far off.

I'm not saying i can do better...I never even tried to imply that.

i'm just saying...if FlyTampa were to do this, it'd be better, I'm sure of it.

If theres one thing that depresses me about the flightsim community these days it's the number of people who just sit on their criticising the work of the people who are actually creating something for us.

ANYWAY..

I'm sure I read when the new terminal was originally announced that there'd be jetways/airbridges to board the passengers.. but looking at the photos this doesn't seem to be the case.
Do you know if the new terminal is for departures, arrivals or both?

No it's going to be airside buses, there were never airbridges proposed at Paphos, or if there were they were taken out early on.

New building (shown) is both Arrivals and Departures in one big space (think London Stansted). Arrivals in the left side, Dep out the right side (viewed from apron). from the size of the car park, you can get an idea of how much passenger volume the government is predicting here in the coming years.

I have similar photos for Larnaka too.

I must say I'm really looking forward to this scenery. Moreover I would like to know if you are planning on doing Larnaka as well, as it would be really nice to finally have 2 beautifull sceneries for this wonderfull country. You also said you had some pictures of the work in progress in Larnaca and if it's not to much trouble, I would really like to see those.

Thanks. I have modelled the new Larnaka terminal also. That's finished but I'm waiting for some more complete photos so I can generate some textures. It's a few months off completion out there yet but I have good aerial shots we were supplied with and some shots up close but it's still in bare concrete stage.

If you ever need me to model a (relatively simple) building according to some building plans than please let me know!

Also, in case someone needs a Cyprus Airway repaint: I am currently making a repaint for the Airbus A319 & A320 from Overland and I have already completed a repaint of the CLS A310 in the old colors of Cyprus Airways. Of course I'm willing to repaint other models as well, so please let me know.
