hey, I don't have my thing taped to my headset right now, but this is what 2 points looks like (you can imagine the 3rd in the middle..it's the brightest of them all usually)

But is it possible to have the three taped to the headset, forming a triangle? All the reflectors on the headset, not on big coat hangar wire?

nope, 2 points have to be in front of/behind another point, so it's a 3-d view

look at the vid in the tutorial...you can see how the guy movies his head around. that wouldn't be possible if the points were all the same distance from the camera.
