It would just give us more information about your D-Link device such as it is chipset.

Well, you need to get more information about your D-Link, what model it is? etc.. You should be able to view that under Windows.

Try this:
Under Windows, get your default getaway ip then copy and paste into your browser, then try on login in, it should give information about it.

No need....nobody can "hack" me by knowing my IP lol...plus it's not hard to get somebody's IP anyhow...

Realtek is an Ethernet Port...D-Link is my USB Network Adapter.

Why does the Realtek say it's wireless?

I have had some past problems with Linux on Broadcom adapters...
not sure about Realtek/D-Link.

Looks like I just need a driver I guess...but it's wierd because I'm connected to the router...I just can't get on the net.

Wireless....I figured out how to fix it...but then that needs an internet connection....Got rid of Linux....getting mac for AMD cpu.

OSX doesn't work with AMD CPU's  :lol:
