Thanks guys and to NWilkinson there are no ground textures exported into fs2004 yet.. thats just the base satellite image.

Narrowly forgot to ask: is it for FS9 ?  

It's not just blending in with the surrounding scenery..  it's having to blend in with nearby water (if applicable) and aircraft.

Some designers do it great but it's by far just a basic sat picture, they are heavily edited pictures.  The ones who do it right are the ones who make it for every season of the year, where you can't get that info from a sat photo.

What I'm getting at is look at the terrain textures, and then look at the environment textures, the sky textures, the aircraft textures....  FS9 and FSX use cartoon textures where photoscenery doesn't blend it, it just doesn't look right.

As a Sydney sider I'm curious to know, will the Airport represent how it looks today as there have been a massive amount of changes, especially to the terminals, gates (for the A380) and layout of the field itself?

Would love to see some terminal and gate shots if you have any

Here are some preview pics of the ground work. In about 1 month i will release pictures of the terminals etc they are being made with detail and tweaked for less fps hit. I want you guys to tell me if the blend looks nice or not and yes i still have to blend the grass with the concrete etc. My main goal now is to experiment with the tunnel underneath the airport.



edit: Azbaz sorry mate i didn't realize you commented. I live 5 minuets away from the airport so i see all the new updates to the airport so yes all the new stuff will be included.
