Funny I was looking for two lost videos of 777-200LR's take off to prove awesome take off ability!!

Although yours was not the same one I was looking for, the video was great and I was baffled why there was stairs to below runway??  Made me wonder what was under that runway??????

I think the 777-200LR plane was empty.

What airport is that?

I saw two videos of half full (half passenger load) 777-200LRs taking off using HALF of runway distance from same runway that takes other planes such as A320s, 737s, 767s, and heavies ALMOST FULL runway distance to take off.  That BLEW my mind!!!

I managed to locate the person who made one of two videos. He apparently removed many videos from youtube. I am trying to convince him to put his videos back on youtube because it was beautiful video showing awesome power of 777-200LR.

777-200LR is most awesome of ALL PLANES and 757-200 is second most awesome:):hrmm::)

As the video description mentioned, the 772 was a delivery to a customer in SEATAC (Would have been pretty much completely empty). Also, if you listen closely you can hear the controller say "Paine Tower" - which leads me to suggest this is Paine Field, they also have a runway 34L (the runway departed in the vid as instructed by ATC) 9,010ft.

Also, if you notice, the runway elevation is different from the surroundings, higher, what was under the runway? Land. The steps simply bridge the gap between the road below and the runway elevation. Practically any plane with no pax on board, no luggage, food etc. will perform as displayed above if the crew so desires it.

Holy geez, the climb was amazing! Maybe it was the angle, looks like he went about 60 degrees up! The nose down transition was nice

You can just imagine the Captain saying to the F/O (Assuming the Captain was flying) "And that's how it's done, son." :hrmm:

No, it looks like that from the angle always :hrmm: .

I saw the same thing with every aircraft in Hong Kong, looked like the climb rate was crazy but I'm sure it wasn't.

WOW  Jeremeny has been promoted to genius for proving that 777-200LR is MONSTER ENGINE!!! Thanks, Jeremeny

I am wondering what IN THE HECK kind of the fake bird they used to test engine!!! a doll bird???  I cannot see what kind of fake bird they used in the video to test!!

I like the world livery of 777-300ER.  Too bad there is no livery for POKSY!!
