Ah, so you're holding something that I said when I was 12 as dirt against me? Sorry, I'm pretty unfazed :hrmm:

Dude seriously, cut that out. You guys are WAY OFF TOPIC. This is a DISCUSSION BOARD, where people are free to express their OPINION as long as it abides by the rules.

Take it into PM's kiddies, seriously.

Ok, just for a sec imagine that on an A319 or a future A350. I think I prove my point.

Some liverys look good only on certain planes, and some work on everything.

I think an all around new look is what they need.

..and TomCat or Zarqueen whatever you name is..I'm sure I can search through these forums and find dirt on you, we all have dirt. I won't do that though, we call that being mature.

Indy - He was a little philosopher, well to FSW about his gay views.  Yet one day, he went away from us all.  Because United decided to paint themselves on the Continental name.  May god be with him.

Exaggeration much? :P

I personally think all of you are over-reacting. Its just paint. This merge was about being United, and getting the best of both worlds. In reality, United won. They got to keep their name. Yeah, Continental got the livery and logo, but i think that this is only a temporary paint. Why paint 700 aircrafts in a new paint this quickly, rather then just 300 or so? In like 3-5 years, they will probably come out with something new. Its just cost-effective now.

What matters is the service, and how great the airline is going to become. I mean, everyone, your preaching to the choir. I never wanted Continental and United to merge. I thought it was stupid, and had more losses then wins. But over the past year, with Continental joining star; United and Continental are extremely similar. It only makes sense to combine.

If this gets approve, just wait, all of you will be surprised. But don't be all over-reacting about some paint on a plane. Airlines paint planes all the time, example Delta. lol. The New United will get its turn down the road.

*Slaps you upside the head*

Continental offers good service, while United sucks :hrmm:

And more and more merging of airlines will make the prices go higher and higher as competition lowers, it's not a good thing for us customers :hrmm:

Cool. I like Continental's quality and service. I've used their services a few times. With the most recent ones in '08 and '09. Everything went as smooth as silk. I've never used United, though. Never trusted them.

I'll be using both on the 30th. UAL from SMF to SNA, and COA from SNA-OGG
