What do they mean by "persistent experiences..?"
(Second paragraph)

Are they saying you won't get tired of playing it?

Their site is so badly coded.

Do you ever say anything positive? I mean, seriously. There's nothing wrong with their website.

About the FAQ: It seems like they are referring to situations you might experience while flying an airplane. (engine failures, weather, etc) Just my thoughts. Not sure how to explain it...

Website sucks only in the aspect that they really don't have any major information out there on it yet. It's like saying "We are making our product, but we won't give you any specifics on it." All I know is it's supposed to be the next generation of flight simming, but I really don't know a darned thing about it other than that.

Seldom.

I thought I have heard the expression "persistent experiences" before...I think it might be from one of the a2a videos on accusim.

Maybe when you shutdown at a gate and exit the program... the next time you launch Flight, the aircraft is in the same location and state.

That would be great if you could do this with multiple aircraft hangared or on the blocks all over the world.

Yeah, it is annoying but this happens with EVERY game ever released.  They announce it is coming and slowly divulge actual information about the game other than standard PR information.

I think that the individual who threw this FAQ together thought less about the content and more about the word getting out. Try not to micro-analyze something like a new video game before it is released, you can bicker and speculate all you want...yet in the end nothing will ever come of it because we will always be the last to know when it comes to the development status, possible features etc.

Your constant posting about things unrelated to the topic at hand is becoming bothersome to all. But hey, what do I know, you have more posts than me :hrmm: Maybe there is some secret forum area where you post things that aren't rude, arrogant or utterly useless and the rest of the community doesn't know about it.

I was merely judging a website made by a multi-billion dollar corporation. You'd think that they would have a decent webdesign / front-end team, but quite frankly the Microsoft Flight site is rather embarrassing to be honest.

The Microsoft website is totally useless!! It says "Install Microsoft Silverlight". Why should I? I have never required Silverlight for all the hundreds of other sites I visit.

So I wait until someone posts the videos in another format, only to discover that I didn't miss much at all!!

Thank you for the videos pwn247!!

Perhaps you should be hosting the Microsoft Flight website; heaven knows you do a much better job than they do.

So, let me see if I understand. Because he posts three videos, he should host a website? :hrmm: Besides, last time I checked, he had no hope for MS Flight.  :hrmm:

I could also do much better than MS, I'm sure. I've made websites before...from scratch. (Don't look at the one in my sig. not a good example of my best work, lol! :P)

Well at least he has three videos I can view; as opposed to the Microsoft site where I can't view any video's without their stupid SilverLight!!

You installed Flash, didn't you?  So what if you quickly install Silverlight?  It seems like you are getting caught up over one little thing not even related to the actual product.

Other websites actually used Flash. :hrmm:
