[LA_PHX]

We were on a cruise so we were limited to a day, unfortunately. What we did accomplish though is some shopping (plenty of nice, little, local shops where you can negotiate a great deal), went to one beach, but not for long at all (would have liked to stay longer), went on a tour of much of the island through the touristy areas and the residential areas, and then went on a boat tour of some coral reefs (it was a boat where you go on the under deck and its just all windows and they send out a diver with food to attract fish). It was probably the best stop of our cruise, for me at least.

There are plenty of boat attractions that depart the island too. I would have liked to spend more time at some of the more scenic areas and beaches (especially Maho beach).

We didn't go to St. Barths but we did go to St. Thomas. Between Thomas and Maarten, go to Maarten. St. Thomas is didn't seem to have much of a local culture that you could experience. St. Maarten is still very touristy (obviously...they rely on it) but just going about the island you see some non-touristy areas.

I went to St.Maarten on a cruise and loved it. We spent the entire day at Maho beach and definitely was the highlight of the trip. I recommend it 100%.

Just about finished up for flying this year. I may be flying TPA-ATL-PNS and back around Christmas. I also may be adding some random trip such as LIT in on December 15th. Other then that, I should be settling at around 65 flights this year.

Speaking of next year however, I'm looking at Seattle January 15th (I think that's the weekend), Detroit for the auto show the following weekend, then probably somewhere international in February, like Barcelona.
