A2A Simulations make fantastic World War II aircraft, and period aircraft.
Real Air aircraft are amazing too

That is number one add-on you should buy. I would not say it takes a lot of memory or FPS, unless you have ultra high settings in fsx, but Its a great add-on and you should buy it first. All other add ons that are listed they don't have to be in order to purchase, they are all great !

^ This is the reason why you should buy it first

It looks like (you'll want to double check on the website i just woke up...lol) PC Aviator, Flight Sim Pilot Shop and The Flight Sim Store all sell a CD copy of the addon
http://www.pcaviator...productid=19617
http://www.flightsim...products_id=809
http://www.fspilotsh...ive-p-3929.html
You can also browse these websites for addons, they usually sell similar products as they are just vendors for the independent addon developers out there...I would also suggest you look at these sites too who all cary a wide range of excellent addons
http://www.flight1.com/
http://www.aerosoft.com/start_eu.html
http://www.justflight.com (Just Flight also offer some demos of addons so you can try before you buy!)

If I were to suggest a "where to start" guide in FSX, it would be to get REX and maybe one small prop plane (I would recommend any of the Carenado as Tiger said) and an airliner (Whatever you like best! All the ones Tiger suggested are good, but some are more complex systems wise than others. I would suggest starting with a simpler model from Qualitywings or perhaps Captain Sim)

The red dots are airports which were designed more recently..they are the highest quality. Honestly, theyre all good. Pick one where you want to fly and go!

Practice with a cessna 172 on small airport fields. don't jump ahead we all started from the buttom ( lol reminded me of drake song ) Kai Tak is a tough airport, it has difficult approach plates as the airport is in the heart of the city I would recommend st. maarten as well, however you could kill the people on the beach but its a great airport to practice landings and right traffic pattern on takeoffs. + you will be great with FPS there

That won't last very long once you start adding payware addons and photoreal sceneries! For example GEX Europe alone is 4GB and that's only 1 continent.
But back to your question: I actually did enjoy and profit from the included flying lessons. It is the best way to learn how to fly in a simualtor in my opinion.

Its always fun to land in different airfield or complicated ones, but if you want to take fsx to a new level, and make it as real as you can, start from the beginning
