Here is why, you read these two informant articles, and you will know why.  He (Blackviper, who is one of the most reliable sources that you can find) expresses almost every single view that I have on AMD.

For those of you who are uneducated, please read these (As my inbox cannot take anymore):

Original Rant (was redone, but please read):
http://www.blackvipe...TheRant/amd.htm

Revised Rant:
http://www.blackvipe..._vs_intel_2.htm

My inbox is suffering so bad.   :D

Fanboys!

Bunch of crap.. from all the AMD pc's that ive build ive never ever had any problems.. Intel is another story...

I believe that it really comes down to what you do with the system that you have.

lol, I have had 5 intel PC's in my time, and 2 AMD..  Never going AMD again..  My oldest Intel system is a P3 700MHz, which is still running without flaws.

The AMD one's..  One is extremely slow, but my sister doesn't mind, and the other one..  Well, the other one didn't even make it a year..

**edit**

And you also proved a point about alot of you AMD fanboy's being..  Closed-minded.

**edit again**

Speaking of closed-minded, you read that article awful fast?  Did you even read both of them..   Course, sounds to me like you read half of it, didn't like what you read, so you just ultimately portray it as BS..  Is that the case?

when you build it yourself and when you take care of it.. itl serve you good. if you buy it from a company youd be better off burning your money or giving it to a homeless mofo, at least he/she will make better use for it.

Jeez why the need for this thread, useless and is just inciting the fanboys to come out of the woodwork.

I have had two Amd systems due to being cheaper to buy (V. important for me) and I have had no problems at all.

Don't matter though, since I guess I didn't catch the edit.

lol, leworthy...  If you got to see the fee's on excessive bandwidth I have gotten this month, then you would want to put this out..  I am guessing that almost half of the 201 I got were from FS2004.com users.

Bro, you completely missed the part..

When you say, "BUNCH OF CRAP"  How else is that suppose to be interpreted?  And also  with the time from when I posted to when you posted, made me wonder how much you actually read is all..  But, oh well.

lol...no no bro..All that is said from experience over the years with both systems.... don't take it the wrong way as being "Closed-minded".

"bunch of crap" was never aimed towards the whole topic.

AMD are fairly reliable..  Not reliable, fairly.

I do not like how AMD tells people that their processors (excluding AMD 64+ for lack of information on the processor), that benchmarks between the athlon processors and P4 processors both pinned with DDR memory (which the AMD is made for, but the P4 is not specifically Designed for) and the AMD winning.  Where as if the P4 was pinned with RDRAM, it would smoke the AMD (Non-64 bit) even if the AMD had both rams on seperate tests.

They use information that they know lacks intel performance, and pins it against an AMD that is made for that certain battery line, and of course it is gonna win, makes it look better.

That's their nasty way of doing things, and it extends way way way beyond that.

Its all marketing bro, all you can do is put your head down and get away from that corporate ###### and build your system. Use it the way that it fits you best. Doesnt matter if your an AMD fan or Intel..It all comes down to what you do.

LOL..  Well, I did a no-no..  I posted in a debate here nearly a month ago, in a few days over 4 weeks, I have gotten 201 emails (pretaining to the AMD/Intel Debate)  That put me only 12 mb over my little 3 gig monthly bandwidth on my mail server :S ..   So my hosting company decided to put a nice little fee on my bill   :D
