I had Corsair ram once, I went through 3 sticks of faulty ram and returned the lot, a complete waste of time and I'll never buy Corsair again :D

The duff ram could be causing all the slow downs, it did for me.

====================================

To get the 'Themes' service running go to:

Start>Run>Services.msc>Scroll down to 'Themes' and make sure it's set to 'Automatic'.

Try this and see if it helps:

Start>Run>Msconfig>Startup>Disable All>Apply>Then Restart the computer.

Running two different sticks of ram should be 'ok' as long as no errors are produced by doing so.

Well I called up customer support and they said they no longer carry that stick anymore but they will replace my old LLPT with a XLPT.

I have no clue what that is but she said it was better. If this is the case there should be no conflicts with my old Ram right ?

Should I also try Omega driver's ? Only reason why I hesitate with that is because of my unfamilurization with un-installing and re-installing drivers. I tried this a while back with some Omega drivers and I totally flubbed up.
If I should try the Omega driver's do they make them for the AIW cards too ? Thanks   :D

The XLPT is better than the LLPT, but I had both and both decided to die on me :D

The XLPT 'should' work fine with your current ram :D

You could try the Omegas, they are compatable with AIW cards :D

Once Again Neil you Come Through :D ... Thanks... Im just replied to an email sent to me by customer support at corair. I asked if I could replace both of the sticks for XLPT.  :D  Don't know if they would agree to that so we'll see.

Hopefully its the stick that was causing the bad performance. If Im still having trouble later on after the transplants then I guess it's time to upgrade my graphics card  :D . But one step at a time, so I reply when I get the new sticks installed.

Hey Hey... Good news they said that they would exhange both of the LLPT sticks for two of the XLPT sticks. Just one question ... Will I lose all of my memory, like pics, songs and such when I put the new one's in ?

:D  Well I finally recieved my replacement sticks in today ( corsair 3200 xlpt's) and im right back where I started... fps are like 10-15. This is quite the challenge trying to figure out what's going on with this machine.

I thought I should at least be getting a lot better fps than this. What should I try next ? And if you need me to post ss's of settings of fs9 ill be more than happy to help out  :D  thanks guys

This topic is so many pages long now I can't remember if I've asked you this already, have you reinstalled flightsim?

Do your other games run with low fps than they usually do?

Yea I reninstalled flight sim and deleted the folder. My other games are running just as slow too. I keep getting a drop is fps about every 15 seconds or so.
