im feeling you on the x850....it rocks on hl2 and other games, but i just cannot get mine to work well at all on fs9... it looks nowhere near what your screenshot looks like...

Well, I've long given up on updating my system to comply with all the new games coming out these days. My system is a little dated:
P4-2.6Ghz
1Gig Ram
ATI 9250 PCI card(don't have an AGP slot on MoBo)
some dirt cheap speakers/sub-woofer/amp combo that sounds really good cranked up on take-off.
That's about it. I get good frame rates with FS9, CFS2, and Falcon4 cranked way up.
I think I paid a grand total of $400 for all of it.
