I see this topic is doing well now!  and justifiably so.

I've just got in the door from 2 days in Barbados (work, client meeting unfortunately). Managed to mentally edit my next vid whilst lying in the 23 degree Caribbean Sea. I recommend this for "video'ers block".

Sounds like your next video should be a masterpiece then Max. Can't wait to see it

Are you building a new hotel in Barbados? :D  So, does your next vid have anything to do with the Caribbean? :D Can't wait to see it as well. Mines are "on hold" for now...

I've often thought of doing a Caribbean vid but there's a big lack of scenery and ground textures for down there.

My next vid's a VOZ vid. But Koorby doesn't even know about it yet and I assure you Adrian I won't be stepping on your toes there. This one's all about being as real as it gets from the pilot's perspective. It's a 7 minute epic.

Max:  Come on! Don't spoil the video! :D hehe It should be a surprise. j/k! That actually sounds interesting. I think only you can pull that one off well.  :D

Adrian: they are on-hold bc I haven't found enough footage yet to do what I want. I'm planning to make 3 short vids(somehow connected...) and they will have real footage/animation mixed with FS ones. The only place I can find them is on the net and most of them are low quality. So I'm still searching for some more clips on google.

Well I'm looking forward to both of your vids. My next project is a video for Peter Wilding and his GE2006. Brilliant ground textures. I think they are better than BEV and it covers the whole world as well! Europe looks amazing :D

I'm looking forward to checking this one out Adey, but Ive tried dloading
it twice tonight and I'm getting dload speeds of between 5kbs and 12 kbs,
which equals a 90+ minute dload time ...and I 'must' get to bed tonight - :D

I'll try again tommora.

Video Critic here-:

Firstly, this was an awesome video. Just because i don't post comments doesnt mean i don't see your vids, i have seen nearly all of them... and i rate this 9/10.  :D

Ok now my ciritic: I have seen this common style of editing you expose in your videos, and its becoming slightly repitative for example your video transitions have the same sound effect "swooosh".... etc You use that every time! Try something differentt for a change. Secondly, you bring on the same angles whenever you "introduce" your plane to your audience, try selecting a different theme for the introduction.

What i found different about this one of yours was it conc. on what the planes features etc... which i liked rather than showing old school manouver's or that camera effect passing through the clouds, which i found quite kewl!

Overall, this was really awesome and keep up the video making. Cant wait to see your next!

I just watched it. Great job AD! Very pro!

Although I'm not a great fan of military aircraft (Iraq 'troop carriers' especially),
I do admire the way you've put this video together and worked your visual magic.

Looking good as usual -  :D

Thanks Ron! A lot of hours went into this one... :D

Powerbuddy, Thanks for your contructive crit! I do like it when someone like you comments on my video because only that way can I make the changes to make my work better. The thing is with this video though is they asked for it to be as high impact as my Vista Australis Video, so I copied the editing style directly. I agree with you about the wooshes, you won't see those in my next video since I have worn them out a little. I choose that introduction from my PMDG movie since I felt it made a cold impression on the viewer and I do think it works well.

The next thing I'm working on is quite different, so stay tuned. :D

It's different when you do a vid for someone else. You shut out everything YOU want and think about what the "client" wants. So Adrian has done the right thing here.

Yep thats the thing Max, as much as I would like to do things my way, I had to make it to how the client wanted it. Thats the downside with doing these video's, you can't go crazy like you would with a personal video... I miss doing them so much :D

So true.  Its like the professional bloke who wants to make movies
but is confined to his job of editing wedding videos all day. Its kind of
restricting on creativity.

Luckily we all can do our own thing most of the time.

Freedom!!  -     :D  :D
