another shot... more detail on the pedistal.

Compiled .mdl file size is 372KB right now.  Anyone know if that is a good size for a VC with this detail? I figure I'll tone down the detail for the general sections of the cockpit - I do want high detail on the panels though.

The PMDG 737 with the VC but without the virtual cabin is about 3MB.

I'm really looking forward to this :D

Can you check somthing for me.  In the PMDG 737 panel.cfg, how many [Vcockpit] sections do they list?

And how many gauges in those sections?

thanks,

It looks good but DC-9's are so unbelievably ugly. Have you started on the exterior yet?

Not much on the exterior yet. I only develped it far enough to get a good model to reverse and use for the interior - virtual cockpit.

Wow, I 'm pretty sure you must have other/better candidates on your "ugly" list ???
On the other hand, which A/C is your favourite among airliners ??

I hope Sphing didn't abandon the project, there hasn't been an update in a while.

Still working on it but not in the past few months.  Wife and I have been working on our house.

I'm not sure if I ever uploaded this image.  Its the latest screenshot from the VC.

It will probably be freeware. (...Is anyone looking for a cockpit developer to hire? ...full time?)

This is a bit off topic.... but this is what my wife and I have been working on for the past few months. (...instead of me working on the cockpit.)

Our victorian parlor!  How does it look?

Sir,

I came across this project while searching throught the forums on hilmerby.com and I want you to know that I registered on this forum just so I can say how awesome this project looks and how eagerly I am looking forward to it, and will probably never post anything agian unless it is to complement you on this fabulous DC-9 development.

I'm a DC-9 fanatic, it is my favorite jetliner of all time.  After my college computer came in, (an ASUS G2S, which is very nice ; ) I finally pushed the button and got FSX.  In short I have been nothing but impressed with it, but the only thing that it is lacking is a good DC-9 addon.  In FS2004 there was Stellan's awesome DC-9 panel to keep me happy, but in FSX, nothing.  My Diesel 9 hopes are riding on you sir!  keep up the good work, I eagerly await updates on this project, and even more eagerly await its release!

You sir, are amazing, and in short, this looks nothing short of awesome, I cannot wait!
