You might want to ask Best Buy that question.  I understand that the release date is the 17th, but I can assure you Best Buy just broke that.

I went to the best buy in staten island NY and asked for it.... they had 10 deluxe in back....  he went to get it but was stopped by his superior because OCT 17 IS A HARD RELEASE DATE!!!!!  I said so what?  You have it right?  Give it to me right now..... I knew it was here before i walked in and Best Buy stores all around the country are selling the game.....  He didn't seem impressed that I knew his inventory better than he did.....  I decided to go to the Best Buy in Brooklyn only to get the same OCT 17 Hard street date blah blah blah.... The guy was a little cooler though because he was like i would do it for you but i recently got in trouble for violating a release date for a friend and the store gets fined for that so i don't know you well  enough to get in trouble over it..... Oh well..... just gonna have to wait i guess........

A buch of stores have in stock by now, in the back... If you ask the right employee who isn't aware of the set release date to go get it for you... You can get it early.

Can you get it early on Amazon.com, or do they start shipping orders on the 17th. BTW I went to a Best Buy too, got the same OCT 17 BS!                                                                                                              I was annoyed at first, now I feel like kicking some employee   ! Was there a chance that after you bought it, the stores found out and warned the other stores?

Will it be to late to buy it tomorrow? Will all the stores know about the delivery date (I am currently thinking that they forgot about the release date). Did I miss the only time to buy it before the release date, and what about Circuit City and Gamestop? I am sooooooo pissed right now! BTW they came out with a cheat book, and the screenshots in there make me want to buy it more!!!

hehe it'll be a while before i buy it.......my teenie weenie 6200 would kill itself before it thought about it!
