Description:

The mighty Arrow flew for only a year before being cancelled, although 5 aircraft made it into the air. At the time, it was the world's most advanced interceptor, a superb aircraft that would would have probably served well into the 1980's in some form. The misguided belief at the time that SAM technology would render it and other interceptors obsolete contributed to the cancellation of the Arrow project on 'Black Friday', 20th Feb. 1959.

Pros:	Amazing Model, great detail, and hard to come by!!
Cons:	No sound set, Tough to handle above Mach 1

The Avro Arrow is a tough model to find because many people don't know it ever even existed. I love this plane and I must label it as my favorite model at this time. Alphasim did a great job in all the details with the glaring lack of sound effects being the only thing missing. Well worth the bucks for any Avro fan and anyone interested in Canadian aviation history.
