Rick what program do you use? NOD32?
I used to, but when it came time to renew I decided to use Avast! which works great and is totally free. They have free 64bit versions, and set on High Avast! catches all four of those links.
My free firewall blocked all attempts. Free Avast  found the first two issues but would let me download the last two at both settings normal and high...
Avast 4.7 with "Standard Shield" set to high?
Not sure right now which version. I'll check later. Updates are always done though...  :shifty:

Try unzipping the ZIP file. I had to do that and by AV didn't even allow unzipping it.

I passed the ports test.

But "failed" the virus test.  Fortunately the downloaded "viruses" were immediately rendered harmless by my mysterious and foreign "OS X" operating system

Generally, if you have a router (or certain Gateway modems) you have basic firewall protection. You should run the port scan test to confirm. As good as NOD32 is, it is no replacement for a firewall.

No, it's a test string that will NOT harm anything. No worries.

Thanks for the tests Rick!

Dang, I have 7 ports that are "Closed, but not secured" and 2 that are "Secure".
How would I "Secure" them?

My AV detected the first file (eicar.com), but let the other three through.  With a manual scan they were detected though.

I have Mcafee Internet Security Suite, with Mcafee Firewall; SpamKiller; Privacy Service.
