With contracts such as the Hornet and I believe unmanned drones too.
EDIT: Also several different contracts for Missiles and such.

<<BA (Boeing) develops and produces jet transports, military aircraft and space and missile systems through 4 segments: commercial airplanes, military aircraft and missiles, space and communications and BCC. For the FY ended 12/31/03, net sales fell 7% to $50.49B. Net income before accounting change decreased 69% to $718M. Results reflect lower sales of commercial airplanes, and a $913M charge for the impairment of goodwill. >>
this explains my case fully .

Especially since they also do things for the armed forces, they aren't just commercial such as that other aircraft producer.
Boeing also signed a 18.9 million dollar contract to do a Surface Launched AMRAAM weapon system, doesn't sound like a company in trouble to me.
Where's your evidence they ARE indeed close to bankcrupt?
And your stock market information hardly prooves they in in that position. All aircraft manufacturers have seen a downfall, my young apprentice.

OK Matey , no i'm not saying boeing won't get any orders , i'm saying Airbus Will have more orders (big differance , don't' be stupid) untill all that airline is airbus as they are so much more advanced than boeing , Ok boeing have proven thereself over time but they're not advancing .
BTW , don't you think Airbus have looked into the market of Airline Transport before going ahead with this multi billion pound project ? i'm positive there is a big enough market for the A380 , if there isn't i'm sure Airbus would have known this , they aint that stupid !!!
**or Airbus are the new leading competitor and the airlines will all go Airbus **
Hence: OR !!!
**No. Boeing is not near Bankcrupcty, and if it was- it would be all over the news an the U.S. Gov would step and and give it billions of dollars to blow Airbus away, as the Euro gov is doing with Airbus since they need financial backing to keep their production lines going.**
Boeing are CLOSE to bankruptcy since september 11th (sorry to mention that sad date ) airline transport Has rapidly declined in the U.S and most American Airlines have took a huge blow from this , so less orders for boeing = less money .
and why would they post it all over the news , it's a bad thing for America , they don't want the world to see this . plus haven't you checked the exchange rate? IT'S EXTREMELY LOW !!!
well the first thing i suggest to you , is to read posts/threads WHOLLY before quoting parts of it that you think sound best .
** HAHAHAHA YOUR PATHETIC!!! LOL THANKS FOR A LAUGH, KIDDO! **
Alright then matey .

You said their are CLOSE to bankcruptcy. Thats the topic- DO NOT CHANGE IT, KID.
Lowers sales ARE FAR FROM THAT.
Its like saying like a Video Rental Store rented out 3,000 videos one month, and only 1,800 the next- doesn't mean they are bankcrupt, huh? They do others things, candy, movie sales, advertising, video games, game sales, system sales, etc etc etc.
Point Proven.
Good Day.

It's apparent you know very little. When aircraft are ordered, they are NOT built ASAP! They usually take several years to deliver with the commercial aircraft. Order an Airbus or Boeing today, get in in 2006 or so. They really can't get more orders than they can handle, the delivery just gets pushed back.
Thanks, stupid person,
Jason

I have a mouth-load to say about that, but to save starting another arguement, you cant compare the two, meant for different markets.
I'm a REAL student pilot- you may have seen my pics before. I have a low 30.2 hours, but a huge bag of experience and knowledge in the field of aviation. Been simming since FS95, and have been interested in aviation since the beginning of my life.
I believe "Knobhead" means a ###### or something... well... he got 50% of that right... I have a head alright...
Adam, I see it wasnt you, I didn't direct it at you... the end read "stupid person" which was directed to the person who called me that.
