Airliners.net said that the photo I submitted below was "Soft." I disagree and think it's actually a bit grainy if anything. Should I bother to re-submit it?

The windows near the front do appear a little soft, just a bit of selective sharpening should do the trick. Nice photo :hrmm:

I was going to say the same thing. The cabin windows and (maybe?) the registration don't look as sharp as they could be. Perhaps the winglet too.

I don't think it will be accepted. Part of the plane is cut off (The elevator). Maybe you could add a little contrast to the picture. And it is definitely soft.

Howdy folks,

Wondering if you could give us a hand. Something just doesn't fit with the following. Especially the first one which I presume is due to the crop. What do you reckon about the colours too please? The sun was harsh during the afternoon :hrmm:

Unfortunately I think both are just too far underexposed.

It'll make it, but to be picky there is a little bit too much space in front of the nose :hrmm:

Hey guys.

Feel pretty confident about this one. Submitted both to A.net and Jetphotos.

Think it'll get in?

It looks good.  REALLY good actually; I love the angle.

However, it looks a TAD overexposed.  It's also a little soft in spots, but some selective USM can fix that.

Yeah, the lighting from the Florida sunset made it perfect.

And I was thinking the same. Kinda late now, as it's already submitted, but where exactly do you see the soft spots?

Also, what is USM?

It's noticeably soft towards the rear of the fuselage, and also the far end of the left engine.

USM = Unsharp Mask

Soft, and bad motive IMO I'll photoshop it later and see what I come up with.

I think it's a little over exposed on the fuselage but that's my fault. I tried to make it a little better from the shot you had. If you gave me the original I could do a lot more with it. But I think that cropping there gives it the best motive. And even at that it's pushing it.

Well thanks :hrmm:

But like I said, it's already in the que. If it gets rejected, I'll show you the original and you can tell me what to do :hrmm:
