I agree. This is how I would crop it...

Nope.. It got rejected because it was overexposed

Just an FYI Airliners.net is notorious for rejecting it for one reason even though there could be more than one thing wrong with the photo. But good luck it might make it I like it!

I'll be commenting directly from a JP.net/A.net point of view.  For example, I personally really like some of your wider crops, but I know that the big sites definitely won't take it.

1. Tighter crop, add contrast, sharpen.

2. Tighter crop, sharpen.

3. More contrast, sharpen.

4. No.

5. Very soft, might want to try sharpening, but may not be able to be saved.

6. Don't know how you may want to crop that, but sharpen it.

7. Same as 1.

8. No.

9. Level horizon and sharpen.

10. Underexposed.  Level the horizon.  Crop so that a/c is in middle of photo and not at the bottom.  Add brightness/contrast and sharpen.

11. No.

12. No.

13. Doubt it.

14. No.

15. Very boring, depends on how good of a day the screener's been having.  Check for dust spots and sharpen.

16. Like #6, don't know how you may want to crop that, but add some brightness and sharpen it.

17. Add brightness and sharpen; don't know which way the screeners might go on this one.  (Can't really see tarmac.)

18. Contrast and sharpen.

19.  A little grainy; I'd give it a pass of Noise Ninja (I can help you with that if you don't have it) and sharpen.


I'll do #1 for you as an example.  If you need any more, let me know and I'll do my best to help.

The SA A320, its a nice re edit and nice shot in general however i am not to sure it will get accepted as the color balance doesn't look right to me. Looks quite blue. Might be just my eyes and monitor.. Nice shots none the less. Good Luck!

The ones of the aircraft exteriors, I'd say yes. I'm not sure about the panoramic shots. They actually seem to make my eyes work harder because it's not a natural way to look at something.

Haha, yeah a while ago actually.

Im looking to upgrade my D300 within the next few months, Nikon are making an announcement next week which should see a D300/s + D700 + D3 replacement or at least something along those lines, depending on specs and $$ I might be tempted into the D300 upgrade, if its bad Ill just try and find a second hand D700.
