While talking to Bman earlier I hatched an idea. He was talking about official VA listings that VATSIM and IVAO use. I will make this simple and lay out my idea.

-Create a Sticky thread that is master list of FSW Approved VA's. The list would include the logo, short description, a link, and one or more testimonials from FSW members who fly for the VA. Only FSW staff could post on it and would control it.

-A rule book would have to be made by the FSW staff on what the VA requirements must be. I'll give an example, must have a domain name.

-Only Approved VA's would be able to post in the VA section.

-FSW would have to set up a format VA CEO's would have to follow in order to submit their VA.


I think this a good compromise and would solve our problems.

I am a member of about 5 forums that are like that though, and my VA gets a number of pilots from them.

So? I still stand by the thought that another forum for approved VA's would be a lot better.

Maybe split this whole forum into sections? PR's, Discussion and approved VA's - if the idea actually goes into play.

I think they (non-members) should get their own section though because they should not be with people that actually care about their pilots and community. Separate the boys from the men.

NEVERTHELESS, it is badly needed in this situation. People cant control themselves in this subforum. I approve this idea wholeheartedly, lets make it happen.
