yep  the runway is about 4600 ft.

Makes me wonder if I can do that in A318 or 727 or E170??

One brave soul has already tried it!

That was a 733, big enough but still try it but I wonder how something a tad bigger like the 727 or 757 would manage it, would be interesting to see :hrmm:

I've seen 737s and A320s do that before, even tighter then that sometimes.

I accept that challenge.  What's the airport identifier?

EDIT:  FS's scenery mesh is not accurate there, it's gonna make it very difficult

Why not use any airport? All you have to do is a simple 180 to a runway.

The irony is, that's a considerably wide, slow turn. It amazes me, on an aviation forum, how the simplest things stun a majority of the members.

I think the point is not so much the size of the turn, more the fact that it hugs the terrain so closely all the way round. That's just not somethign you see at many other airports operating commercial services.

Well I did it once with a DC-3 and once with an A318 we'll see what kind of damage I can do with something else. And we'll see about a video. :hrmm:

Well, I broke about 5 747-400ERF's and two 777-200ER's trying to do it...   I can get to the airport but I can't get below 135 knots without stalling at such a high bank angle..  I bet only regional jets and 737's and any other aircraft that can fly slowly can land in there..  heavies just won't do it.

I will give you 5 stars on your profile if you can do it..  btw I found out that I had a crosswind pushing me into the mountains..  so no changing winds to make your turn radius shorter :hrmm:
