Aharon, I've joined your petition even though I don't ever use photobucket. I understand how much this means to you, and so I have sent them a copy of your message and signed it with my name. Best of luck with your endeavours. :hrmm:

Is it really that hard to move the mouse to the same place it would've been anyways?

In the new format, when I move mouse over the picture to make links and info visible, I start to right click to activate copy and before I have chance to copy the img link, the links and info vanish.

To do this, I would need to press ctl-C on every pic's link.

Aharon

Janu,

Thanks!!

Well then obviously you haven't paid much attention to Photobucket then. You don't have to select the text and hit copy. Mouse over the image, move the mouse down to the proper box, and left click the box. It copies the code to your clipboard. No need to Edit > Copy or control c.

Just download the ImageShack upload tool, install it, and use that. 5 MB images with a shell extension for Windows.

Dude, that's just incredibly......erm...gay?

I see no point in even taking part if you don't ever use photobucket. What concern is it to you?

This whole thing is just stupid. I have always gotten along with you Aharon, and I'm sure I will again in the future; however, this endeavor is just plain ridiculous. And I'm sure they won't consider your suggestions. They're probably just trying to make you happy for the time being. There's no big deal in any of this. Quit being a baby and deal with the fact that someone made a change without consulting you.

ahhhhh  fine example of children playing in Romper Room!!!

If FSW set age minimum requirement, the membership would have been reduced by 70 percent.

Anyway, all of you will never believe!!!

Today, Photobucket has RESTORED the feature of clickable function to copy img code from Photobucket and paste on FSW forum just like good old times!!!! All you have to do is to click on link creating automatic copying function and then paste on aviation forums!!! This function had been disable for past 12 months.

This is making it faster for me to do screenshot work.

Now they told me they are working on making links and file infos of pictures visible as always instead of mouse houvering over pictures.

Your screenshots have MONSTER Jpeg artifacts anyways.  Learn to take proper images first before complaining of hosting the images :hrmm:

All your screenshots are like this:

Use better jpeg compression to make them come out like this:

And I already told you how to do that. :hrmm:

hey Dr House

looking at your 31 posts and new membership date, it does not take genius to guess it was YOUR EMBARRASSING posts that got you expelled from FSW and you came back under new phony screenname.

To Philip Fry,

Thanks for kind words!!! I am really glad that Photobucket is listening to people and working to correct the new format version!!!!

Oh by the way to the nameless person whoever posted two screenshots of 744, if you dislike jpeg compression,  why not write a letter to Photobucket to complain to them about compression problem???

Regards,

Aharon

Photobucket isn't causing compression problems, you don't know how to take screenshots properly :hrmm:

Sheesh you're so ignorant.

Nope

People told me that uploading to Photobucket causes compression. They say it happens during uploading and the only way is to change the file type to avoid it.

And anyone who never uses his or her name on posts or never use name for his or her screenname is so ignorant.

Even if that was true (which it isn't), wouldn't that just be another reason to not use photobucket.

Please notice the lack of question mark, clearly indicating the rhetorical nature of the question.

Or just upload PNG. You know, because it's a lossless format.

Quite frankly, unless something is a photo (or other high-resolution image), there is no excuse for it to not be a PNG. I make all of my signatures in PNG-8, they turn out fine. It compresses very well and never loses quality. Instant win.
