Or just upload PNG. You know, because it's a lossless format.

Quite frankly, unless something is a photo (or other high-resolution image), there is no excuse for it to not be a PNG. I make all of my signatures in PNG-8, they turn out fine. It compresses very well and never loses quality. Instant win.

I tried that trick by saving the screenshots in PNG but Paint Shop Photo X2 Ultimate seems to refuse to recognize PNG. Let me check.

hey Dr House

looking at your 31 posts and new membership date, it does not take genius to guess it was YOUR EMBARRASSING posts that got you expelled from FSW and you came back under new phony screenname.
To Philip Fry,

Thanks for kind words!!! I am really glad that Photobucket is listening to people and working to correct the new format version!!!!

Oh by the way to the nameless person whoever posted two screenshots of 744, if you dislike jpeg compression,  why not write a letter to Photobucket to complain to them about compression problem???

Regards,

Aharon

Your screenshots have MONSTER Jpeg artifacts anyways.  Learn to take proper images first before complaining of hosting the images :hrmm:

All your screenshots are like this:

Use better jpeg compression to make them come out like this:

And I already told you how to do that. :hrmm:

It's a lost cause. I tried showing him how to save and upload with higher quality multiple times, but he just ignored my posts.

Also, is that your picture? Nice graphics, and good to see FSX is working well. :P

Yup apparently, he posted low quality images again just today/yesterday http://www.flightsim...howtopic=191396 :hrmm:

Those are good screenshots, but the artifacts... :hrmm:

Saving your image as PNG will prevent those artifacts.

A lot of image hosters (Photobucket especially) compresses the JPGs that are uploaded. However, PNG is lossless and cannot be compressed the way that JPGs are.

Really, any web image should be a php in my view if someone is worried about load time. It's a flawless compromise. It should only be a jpeg, or god help us a bmp, if quality is absolutely necessary.

And anyone who doesn't display their age in their profile is hiding something :hrmm:

Yeah. They're hiding their age, because perhaps they don't want anyone who registers to have access to that knowledge.

There are a lot of members, myself included, who don't display their real age in their profile. :hrmm:

Aharon,

Did you ever consider this is a sign from a higher power to stop posting so many terrible pictures?

Edit: Just read this.

If FSW set age minimum requirement, the membership would have been reduced by 70 percent.

Yep, I'm sure no one knows how to click the drop down that says DATE OF BIRTH and put in a falsified year. Next you should try solving America's economy, African plagues, and Middle East conflicts (seeing as how you're so brilliant)

Ouch. I'm what? 1 year old. Guess I shouldn't be here then. But you know, Aharon is more than 20 years my senior. It's okay for him to be here!
