I just find reading the comments funny...so many people still think that the devs actually give a rats :hrmm: about the old MSFS community B)

I think it's funny to see how the Flight dev team is in denial about all of this...I think it may be a short term revenue, but not in the long run like FSX before.

You can judge how popular it is by the 4 posts in the Flight screenshot forum which has been opened for over a few weeks now.

Does anyone else recall reading on either Flight's facebook page or Flight's official website when they were having the "guess the project" for the Zero, that the project would compliment the next DLC? Would this mean Japan is next after Alaska? Seems appropriate to have another island DLC.

What the :hrmm: is MS doing? Where are our favorites (C172, b58)? And no cockpit view? This is a kids-game.

idk if that's a joke or not but either way...  kids can't afford it and even the gamers are calling themselves out and saying they also don't like it... lol

Kid:  "Mommy/Daddy, this new game just came out and you can fly like a real pilot!"
Mom/Pops: *views Flight on their website* "Hey, this looks cool!  Kids can learn to fly now, I will definitely buy this for my kid.
Kid:  "Can you also buy me a Captain's hat from eBay?  It's also cheaper than Flight.
Mom/Pops: Most certainly my Captain child!  I can see you as a pilot already!

How do you fly the plane without cockpit view, is it just to walk around in the hangar or is there a 2D panel or you just fly arcade-style from a 3rd view perspective ?

I think that when you get to cockpit view, the cockpit is just invisible. Also from the outside, there's no cockpit visible inside the plane too.

In the mustang there is no interior model in the cockpit view. You can use the HUD and switch to chase camera, action style.

That plane without cockpit was one of the coffin nails for me. I enjoyed the detail and quality of the Maule cockpit, the great checklist function which shows you what buttons to press for startup instead of just "auto engine start". I was so naive to think "O.K. it's the beta, the cockpit will be there after release".

News post showcasing the lead designer's record on a hoop course to promote the Zero. Microsoft is pathetic.

At least, there's no positive comment in there yet.

If this a reflection of their sales data then I'd really love to see their sales data.
Who exactly is buying this stuff?
