Who me? :D Suppose I am a vet, but I kinda feel like a newb since I was gone so long. :D I edited my post cause I don't want to get involved in this stuff, but I must say that I did enter this month (mine's the bad one :D ), and I feel that it is a fair contest this month, and feel that my own shot is not threatened by any "edited" shot. 11 is the only one that looks like it has been altered, but cropping isn't considered editing I guess (not that it should be).

This happens every month. If you guys think a shot is edited, PM it to Byron as Neil said. Do not post it in here. Read the rules. Anyways, I voted for #5.

FWIW, no one is allowed to vote for their own shot. This is monitored.

The're all crap.

Roll on a decent THEME

Where are the Stunts / Aerobatics in 14......(sorry for picking on you, but you're winning at the mo)

I'm not knocking all the shots, but if the last 6/7 comply with the rules, then I'm the Queen Amidala.

Steve

I must admit I'm pretty sick of people acusing editing since I lost March's SS contest from it (the one with the big moon) http://www.fs2004.co...showtopic=39651
In my case it was simply sour grapes from people who don't have the creative edge to make better shots so they automatically think 'edit' After showing how I created the shot the acusers weren't even big enough to apologise.

The shot in question (F-16 over F-18), I used to have that F-16 model and got rid of it because I hated the afterburner effects; just so unrealistic.

The afterburner is not edited and that shot would be possible only through multiplayer.

So, yes it's possible it has been edited but for the ones who can only take the same boring pictures of your airliners from the same ###### angles - don't jump in just because you don't know how you would do it.

And Jetset...all crap are they? what theme do you want - a flying airliner?

rant over, good shots, and mines doing ok too!

I'd say it would be very difficult to write in words EXACTLY what would be considered "aerobatics". Because of this, I think some leniency has to be given. One person could say "Spectacular stunts, such as rolls and loops, performed in an airplane" while some may say "the performance of stunts while in flight in an aircraft" not necessarily being "spectacular". Then what is a stunt exactly? "A feat displaying unusual strength, skill, or daring" or maybe "Something done to attract attention or publicity" It's all very loose.

Oh, this is just great. Because of a few users the rest of us will probably lose the right to post messages about the entries, and that would be unfortunate. Listen to the vets like Neil and Austin. Read the rules. Whether you think the shots were edited or not, they are in the contest so quit trying to spoil it for the rest of us here.
Im a vet, so if I say jump over a cliff would you do it? :D or how about saying those shots were edited? :D

Nah, just messing with you. I can understand why certain members say some shots are edited, I must admit they do give you that edited feeling (it may be because we're not experienced with such original shots or just because we got that little suspisions lol)

Anyhow my vote went with number 1. i like the colours and the way the plane was spinning until it got under a bridge. nice one  :D

I think the people who voted for that shot, just chose it for the scenery

I voted for #12.

I got one suggestion for the mods: (When you'll perform the next site upgrade) Once the contest is on, keep something similar to the counter on the main forum page which will link to the first page of the contest in progress. I'm sure it will help in increasing the number of voters.

:D  Austin, you just need the right addons like Walk and Follow or Active Camera to get those angles  :D
