My card is 9600XT and using Omega 2.625a - CAT 5.4 with Radlinker incorperated for overcloking.
Now, just wanna try the 5.6 one more time on my 9600XT.
So, I shall install the CP5.6 (Don't install the crappy CCC5.6 as you suggested), and then I shall install the stand-alone's Radlinker for overclocking.
Am I right?
>>> Mango is still waiting for new DNA . . .
Also IIRC the 9600XT should have an overdrive option in the Ati control panel anyway

NO GOOD!
I tried CP5.6 with standalone's Radlinker 3033.
1st: The fps dropped about 2 to 3 and the fps is not as stable or as constant as Omega 5.4.
2nd: After installing Radlinker 3033 (after reboot). The OVERDRIVE was gone, no AI setting too!
So, I switched back to Omega 5.4 for the time being and I'm now decided to just sit and wait for new Omega 5.6! No more trying cat. 5.6!
Thanks again for your kind advice!
Oh ya! One more question!
What is that AI means? (The default setting is "Normal"). When set to "Advance", fps drops a lot! So, If I set it to "Disable", I guess the fps would improve a bit but to what extent in compromising the graphic quality of the game?

As for the AI, it's a driver feature, a good explanation here:

Just stay still with Omega 5.4 and wait for Mr. Omega to release the Omega 5.6 ! You would never feel wasting your time waiting for him! I bet Omega 5.6 is going to be a "huge" driver with very positove perfromance gain!
So, just enjoy yur game and waste no more time to try cat 5.6 ! Cheers!

Thanks for the A.I link!
Oh ya! After reading and studied the charts of that A.I web info, I'm setting the A.I to "disbale" to see if any performance gain in fs9!
Hi jetset,
It is a performance issue and may be compability issue with radlinker for 5.6 ! I have never had any new drivers installation problem loh !
I always follow proper unstallation/installation procedure and with updated OS/bios/systems elements!
Cheers!

So calculating this: 6753/7212 = 0.9365. So there was a 6.35% performance decrease for me.

It has overall improved the perfromance of most games!
However, one thing for sure that 5.6 does not improve fs9 in most cases!
I salute ATI for their job well done for 5.6 !

Cat 5.6 had overall improved the performance for most games as they claimed and that is indeed a job well done!
However, for us, flightsimmers, Cat 5.6 does not improve the fs9 for sure !
But that's ok ! I still salute ATI for their great efforts in improving their driver quality month after month and that's satisfaction for the customers!
