I believe that it depends on what program you go into, I will try to get you something tho.

Well, I am still trying to find out prices, but I know that if you qualify as a domestic student you have a guaranteed job interview with Delta Connection. You can read more here and then find out more by just going to programs and choosing :D

The school in Arizona costs around 20000USD. It isnt JUST Delta Connection though. They train you in CRJs and Dash8s but it isnt for one airline.

Now one thing guys, does an ATP must have an academic experience ?

I mean some of ppl just went for their ATPL in 6months and got jobs ! But well it's all about $$$$$$$$$$

EDIT :

I just noticed something, most of you guys are just looking to the money ! That's the spirit  I thought ! we wanna be pilots because we were born to fly planes not to recieve cash ! I want to be a pilot for a major airline too, but even if I couldn't find a job and the only place avalible is at the world's poorest and worst airlines ( if understand what I mean ) I will definitly take it :D

Just don't let the spirit go people ! It's what we are all here about :D

yep, its the advantage for a parent to be a pilot and own their own plane.

and dolbinau: This is the flight school I am talking about... http://www.panamacademy.com/career.asp .. (PanAm) They are based out of KDVT-KSDL-KPHX-(Falcon Field) but if you want hte commercial/atp training with the CRJs I think it is only at KPHX.

Hope that helps.

^ That looks awesome! So, are you saying the Career Pilot Program, costs approximently Twenty-Thousand United States Dollars from start to finish?

Thats roughly $26,000 AUD and for that price it would be worth moving to America just to recieve training.

Don't count me to it, when I saw the price, it was for the grand opening (special maybe) so it could possibly be a bit more, but I seriously don't think it is much more than a few grand or so more...

(BTW: Arizona has some of the best flying weather in the world.. w00t... whenever I am out at SDL I look over into the PanAm terminal and there are so many people from Europe and India and a few Aussies in there.)

Here, a licence could cost you in excess of $50,000 AUD...So I guess it could be better :D.
