Looking at them, I don't think any are edited.
However, even if #6 is edited, he only has 1 vote, so it doesn't much matter anyways.
As for #11, all he/she has to do is crank up hardware AA, and you can get that sharpness on any high end card. nVidia or ATI.
I'm guessing its from an ATI since it has that "cartoon" look to it.
All the others look like regular screen shots to me.
I voted for 15.
When I look for a screen shot, I look for one I would put up on the wall. The nice colors, crispness and contrast makes for a unique shot.
Nothing personal for the other shots, they're all great shots, but they're kind of "the usual"...

Efforts over the last few months have been greatly increased to produce fantastic screenshots and I have to admit that its paying off, these are some of the best screens yet, a few months back we were lucky to get just a couple screens of this quality.  I don't know if people are upgrading their PC's or just trying harder but whatever it is, Keep it Up!!

My vote went to #11, great angle and scenery included in the shot.

#11 looks like a sharpness filter was applied.  Looks a little suspicious around the windows.

#11 does seem to have a pass or two of sharpening.  But is that really an edit?
Anyway, IMO, sharpening the pictures make them look worse.

The "sharpening" in 11 could just be a result of JPG compression?

In picture 28 is that sky default or is it an add-on that you download?  I've seen super red and orange sunsets whereas mine don't seem that vivid.

#25 Gets my vote this month

It may not have the best graphics, but it's the best "taken" picture out of all of them. :P Even better than mine :o

Great shot to whoever took it. I don't want to know until the end of the contest since it's supposed to be a secret as to who took which shots.

Congrats wnfaknd for the promo to Commercial Pilot !

I don't like to say this and it's not my intention to make an intervention. I don't know if it is o.k. to post this... - but IMO this shot is sharpened not one but two times. It's to obvious. Sorry...

the creation of the pic was adobe photoshop. Which really doesn't mean that i was sharpened. But I do agree, it does look a bit, and sorry to the editor if its not. Other than that, the only explination I could suggest is the author turned up the sharpening on their graphics card. Which I guess is allowed. It all depends on which you think looks realer.

The question is though (if it has been edited) does it get disqualified or does it stay in the competion?

IF a pic is edited it should be banned from the competition
the rules forbid editing so...

VERY TRUE.  I wonder if Brad or Jon has realized that a lot of us think pic 11 has been edited.  (no offence if you are the owner of pic but the rules must be reinforced)

We're aware - and yes an edited pic would be pulled.
