Live is not "lousy." Live on Xbox is undoubtedly the best online service out there, but I haven't had too much experience with GFW Live to really make any claims. What I can say, though, is that my experience with Gamespy was the worst online gaming experience I've ever had.
Because Steam runs great on only 65% of the computers that use it. It runs terribly on my system.

what i would like is a realistic experience that's even MORE accurate than what we have now, along with graphics that push the envelope but are future friendly with the actual technologies of the future; ie not something that figures an 8ghz single core will be out in a year or two.
