The only time when companies require a degree in business management is when they don't want to train you. If they are willing to train you, then the degree isn't needed.

Again you're making some bold assumptions with your last paragraph. It seems you are the one generalizing in the above case.

Pot calling the kettle black.

Again, reread my posts instead of responding to what you think I said. I'm tired of arguing over biased nonsense.

Just because I say something doesn't mean it's open for debate!

Whatever man. Look, get in your truck and get going. I've got a package that still hasn't been delivered.

I gave you the opportunity to stop posting several posts ago.

What opportunity are you speaking of? You keep responding to my posts so I'm obligated to reply. Oh, and now that you resorted to personal attacks, welcome to my ignore list. And your post was reported. I don't have the time or patience to read your BS. If you have the cojones then say it to my face.

Yup. it seems people can't keep their mouths shut when needed. This thread is bound for a lock any moment now.

To anyone who wants to continue the pointless debate:

You couldn't put up a good debate so you're inviting to violence? Real mature.

Here is the opportunity. Read over it a few times please. Note the time it was written at :hrmm:

In general, having a degree will make you more attractive to a wider range of employers. This is why people here get one.

I don't care what you say, having no degree severely limits what you can and can't do in the work force.

In any event, we're not going to see eye to eye on this so let's just agree to disagree?

I'm sure the OP is absolutely confused now lol.

Erm, of course it is. This is a forum, what do you expect? If someone reads something you post and they completely disagree with it, they're entitled to say something...

If you don't want something open for debate you shouldn't post it at all.

Nonsense. Online forum or not, I don't want to argue over every little thing I say. You wouldn't do that in reality, would you? If you do, than I bet you don't have many friends. No one is ever entitled to give a opinion. There are times when you just need to sthu. Use the PM system if you disagree with something someone says. Quit derailing threads cause you can't keep your panties together when faced with a different viewpoint.

Why don't you just stop posting? You've had so many opportunities.

And again, I feel the need to ask why a truck driver, with no real world aviation experience feels the need to post so strongly in the aviation section?

Ok, firstly I don't know where you got the idea that I "want" to argue with people. Yes people are entitled to give an opinion, who are you to say they aren't? Stop acting like you're some kind of authority figure.

And then you say if you disagree with someone you should PM then instead of derailing the thread. What are you doing right now then?  :hrmm:  B)

I think he meant "a idiot' on purpose, like a kindergartener was saying it in a school fight. :hrmm:

And he oes have real-wold aviation experience through flight training. Don't assume you know someone's background before using it against them.

This thread has become completely ridiculous. I'm sorry the OP had to post a serious thread that turned into a fiasco.

Even still. The original thread was regarding how to become a pilot in a commercial operation to which this 'Nixon' fellow, still has no background in.

I've lived on both sides of the fence here. Obviously one side not having a degree, and the other side earning my degree. My view is that was I obtained my degree; employment was much easier to find.

I suspect Nixon doesn't have a degree, which puts into light, how can he can accurately gauge the effectiveness and value of a degree.
