Try with Maximum?

There is no maximum for texture or weather. :hrmm:

No, console port means the opposite.

A game is developed on PC for consoles, then the console version gets ported on PC. It's cheaper and faster.
The game code is the same through and through. A game is never really taken from console to PC. The code is merely compiled to run in a PC run environment, which is why you'll spot the same issues with PC versions as in console versions. If you took the end product of a console and ran it on a PC through a direct port as implied, it would look like :hrmm:, to put it nicely.

That's why the majority of games today looks crap. B)

At least some developer optimise the console version before releasing it on PC. But the best thing would be the game to be developed for PC first.

A direct port, yes.

Again, you seem to not have the ability to read and understand English. A game is developed on a PC using code that is not proprietary to a console. The end product is then compiled using proprietary measures for the console it's destined for. To take a console game and decompile its code and recompile the code to run in a Windows environment is inefficient, costs the developer more, and wouldn't deliver the results you would get if you originally compiled the game code to work in a Windows environment. You wouldn't get the results because you have graphics that are considerably dumbed down for a console.

Do you understand now or would you like me to simplify it even further?

While it may seem inefficient, it's actually more efficient. It's cheaper to make a game with console iterations and then port it to PC.

If you think it's inefficient, explain the fact the majority of games today is console ports.

There are no plans at all for Flight to be ported to XBOX. None. It is a PC only title.

I'd like to post here something about the beta.

In the leaked videos, we see that while loading, tips appear. One of them says:

"Visit the Microsoft Flight website to tell us what aircraft, scenery, missions, and new game features you would like to see in the game."

Can you do anything like that?

I'm assuming through beta feedback?

The Beta is designed to be tested and then give your feedback, there are various ways to gove feedback, including a Beta forum.

Can a beta tester please request the Cessna 182? I would really appreciate it.

I would assume the majority of people with beta from FSW wouldn't be asking for a Cessna but more like asking them for rather bigger features and answers to peoples concerns.

But the message says you can ask for anything, even scenery.

But anyway, the priority is to fix all problems.

Well yes I understand that but the Cessna isn't really an issue. I'm pretty sure Microsoft will bring out a lovely DLC of many GA aircraft for you.

Where does it talk about asking for "anything?" I want to ask, as I'm a tester too.  :hrmm:

I say so above. In a tip on the loading screen.

You should have noticed. I'm not even a beta tester. I looked at a leaked video.

I've spent more time reading the beta channel than playing the game. While I am disappointed, something might come up.
